Canadian National M335-71 heads northbound on the Waukesha Subdivision approaching Peterson Road in Libertyville, Illinois. The daily long-haul manifest operates between Harrison Yard in Tennessee and Kirk Yard in Gary, Indiana, though this particular movement is occasionally routed north toward Stevens Point. IC 1036, a 1999-built SD70, leads the 149-car train, still wearing the Illinois Central Death Star livery, one of the few remaining examples of the railroads classic appearance.
