On a chilly and rainy Friday morning, BNSF train B-CNISCO slowly rounds the corner at Matfield Station as it crests the grade. As the train passes, a pair of maintenance vehicles pass by on the eastbound main, requiring the engineer to sound 1036s awesome brass bell and P5 horn. Seeing an IC SD70 off of CN trackage (and leading as well) in 2026 is certainly not a sight I expected to see this year! I spent an hour here in the rain waiting for this train, but it was certainly worth it!!
